INTRODUCTION
The foundation of the school is rooted in the vision, courage, and dedication of its esteemed founder, Chairperson, Late Mrs. Anita Tiwari, M.A., B.Ed., a committed educationist who believed that quality education should reach every child, regardless of economic background. In 2003, at a time when educational opportunities in the region were limited, she took the first bold step by starting the school in a rented premises in Village Dhakoli, then a modest village with a population of around 10,000. Those early days were marked by struggle and perseverance, as she personally visited nearby villages to motivate parents and bring students to the school.
The institution began humbly, offering classes up to the 5th standard. Driven by her unwavering determination, Mrs. Tiwari purchased a piece of land in 2004 and constructed the ground floor building, where the school functioned in just six rooms. With growing trust from the community and increasing enrolment, the infrastructure expanded further, and by around 2008, the first and second floors were added.
In 2011, when the Government of Punjab made formal registration mandatory for schools, the process involved numerous compliances and nearly twenty formalities. Demonstrating remarkable resolve, Mrs. Tiwari worked tirelessly, moving from pillar to post to fulfill every requirement. Her efforts bore fruit when the school secured affiliation from the Punjab School Education Board in May 2011. As part of the regulatory requirements, the school was brought under a registered society, which she established as the Parth Education and Children Welfare Society. The name “Parth,” drawn from the epic Mahabharata, reflects the spirit of learning and guidance—Parth being the devoted disciple of Lord Krishna who received the wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita.
However, destiny had other plans. In February 2012, the institution suffered an irreparable loss with the untimely demise of its visionary founder. Yet, her mission did not fade. Guided by her ideals and sustained by her blessings, the school continues to flourish.
Today, the school stands as a humble yet proud institution dedicated to serving the educational needs of children from economically weaker sections who cannot afford the high cost of modern education. It enjoys deep trust and a strong reputation in the surrounding communities. Beyond educating students, the school also provides meaningful livelihood opportunities to many teachers residing in nearby areas, thereby contributing to the social and economic fabric of the region.
The institution remains a living tribute to the noble vision of Late Mrs. Anita Tiwari, whose dream of accessible and value-based education continues to illuminate young minds year after year.
